Dr. Jesus Soria-Ruiz

Dr. Jesús Soria-Ruiz is a senior researcher at National Institute of Research for Forestry, Agricultural and Livestock (INIFAP) in Mexico. Academic profile: Agronomist Engineer in Soil Science, MSc in Soil Fertility, PhD in Edaphology and Pos-Doc in Geosciences. Currently, he has been in working in Land use/cover, optical and radar remote sensing for crops monitoring and crops yield, climate change (scenarios, mitigation and adaptation), Extreme events (drougth, flooding, landslide).

 

Dr. Soria-Ruiz has 32 years of professional experiences in the public sector and has been professor in academic sector  in some many Universities:  Soil Science department in Agrarian University, Saltillo, Mexico; Postgraduate  College in Agriculturtal Science, Montecillo, Mexico and Faculty of Agricultural Sciences  at Autonomus University of State of Mexico, in Toluca Mexico.

 

He is member  of International Society of Soil Science,   Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS-IEEE), American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. Currently, Dr. Soria-Ruiz is referee of some  journals included in JCR-ISI and in Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
